An update on the Summer 2026 diocesan camp season by Leann Wigner, published on September 1, 2026.

Camp Highlights

• Camp Quarterman (Colorado): Hosted 37 campers. Clergy support was provided by Fr. Jim Haney (St. Paul’s, Lubbock) and Fr. Jimmy Haney (St. Mary Magdalene, Manor).
• Camp Quarterman Junior (Ceta Glen): Hosted 25 campers. Clergy support was provided by Fr. Jim Haney and Mthr. Amy Haynie (St. Nicholas’, Midland).
• Theme: "Pharaoh, Pharaoh—Let My People Go!"
• Activities: Campers participated in scripture lessons, games, music, and crafts designed to build faith and community relationships.

The camps were supported across the diocese through camper attendance, fundraising, and prayer. Plans are currently underway for the Summer 2027 programs.
