Youth and Camp Update - Summer 2026

Our summer camps were well attended, and our campers had a wonderful time! Camp Quarterman welcomed 37 campers to Colorado, while Camp Quarterman Junior welcomed 25 campers to Ceta Glen.

Our theme for the summer was “Pharaoh, Pharaoh—Let My People Go!” Fr. Jim Haney of St. Paul’s, Lubbock, and Fr. (Deacon during camp)  Jimmy Haney of St. Mary Magdalene, Manor, served as clergy at Camp Quarterman. Fr. Jim and Mthr. Amy Haynie of St. Nicholas’, Midland, served as clergy at Camp Quarterman Junior.

Throughout the week, campers played games, learned about God and the Bible, sang wonderful songs, and created memorable crafts. Each activity offered opportunities to grow in faith, build friendships, and have fun together.

We were blessed with an outstanding group of returning and new counselors, clergy, and staff at both camps. Everyone pitched in, worked well together, and helped create a welcoming and joyful camp experience. We are already looking forward to serving together again next summer!

Our diocesan family supported this important ministry by sending campers, donating funds, and praying for everyone who attended and served. We are deeply grateful for the many ways you helped make camp possible.
