RECAP OF THE 65TH ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE EPISCOPAL DIOCESE OF NORTHWEST TEXAS

The 65th Annual Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwest Texas was held October 20-21, 2023 at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion located at 2680 Drive of Champions on the Texas Tech campus. 

The theme of this year's Convention was THY KINGDOM COME. The Rt. Rev. Rayford High was our preacher at the opening Eucharist. Bp. High served as suffragan bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas from October 2003 to September 2012 and as provisional bishop of the former Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth from November 2012 through June, 2015. He has most recently been serving as an assisting bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. Rayford is known for his wit, wisdom, fishing stories, cowboy hats, and a deep love of small church ministry.
