Summer camp! It is going to be here before you know it. We are about 2 months out from Camp Quarterman and Camp Quarterman Junior. Friendships happen at camp. We have awesome bible lessons, exciting games, worshipful music, crafts and all the “camp” stuff going on. And we also make lasting friendships that are remembered by campers over the years. Campers who attended in the past still connect with those friends many years later. They stop to say hi when vacationing in a camp friend’s hometown. Those friends reach out when their children will be going to college far from home—to a friend from camp who will be an away from home parent. When a friend is sick, those friends from camp gather in prayer from far and near for healing. What a blessing to meet friends and keep those friends from camp for years to come.
