January 2024 Youth News Update

Happy New Year! 2024

We are six months from summer camp 2024 starting. Six months seems like forever and yet it will be here before we know it. What does that mean? We are in full “planning mode” for camp in January. 

Camp Quarterman, our first one of the season, is for our youth who are completing 7-12 grades May 2024. It will run from July 14th-20th. Camp Quarterman Jr., will begin on July 21st and end on July 26th. CQJ is for our youth who are completing 2nd-5th grades May 2024. Youth who are in 6th grade may pick either one of the camps to attend. 

During the week at camp our activities include: swimming, playing outdoor and indoor games, crafts, learning Bible stories, sharing, and singing. Our counselors and staff are dedicated to making the week the best for each camper possible.  

Please keep our youth and all who minister with them in your prayers. If you are out of high school and might be interested in working at one or both of our camps this summer as a counselor or staff, please let me know.  

I am excited about our camps and would love to discuss any questions you or your youth might have. This spring, I hope to visit some of our parishes to share about Camp Quarterman. I hope to see you then.
