This semester, Canterbury at TTU will be hosting three date night fundraisers to help fundraise for a summer retreat. The summer retreat's theme is "Finding Our True Selves in God" and will take place in the San Antonio area, close to Kerrville.
While these events are called "date nights," friends and loved ones are encouraged to sign up. Any size of group can be accommodated up to 16 people.
Dinner will be served at Canterbury at 6pm, and childcare will last from 5:45pm-10:00pm and will be held in the St. Paul's nursery across the street from Canterbury.
Each event will include live music, free childcare, an appetizer, an entrée, a dessert, and your choice of beverage (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available). Details for each meal are given below:
February 11: German Food

Some of our midwestern students and our chaplain will be cooking German Food. The menu includes the following:
Appetizer: German Cucumber Salad
Entrée: Pork Stitzel or Opa's Beef Sausage with Sauerkraut, Hot German Potato Salad, German Red Cabbage, and Rolls
Dessert: Chocolate Cake
Drinks: Water, Tea, Red Wine, White Wine, German Dunkel Beer, or Soda
March 25: Persian Food

One of our Iranian students and our chaplain will be cooking Persian Food. The menu includes the following:
Appetizer: Kashke Bademjan (Persian Eggplant Dip with Pitas)
Entrée: Saffron Infused Chicken and Carrot Stew with Plums Served on Rice
Dessert: TBA
Drinks: Water, Tea, Red Wine, White Wine, IPA Beer, or Soda
